Like many of you, we here at MyCoolBin also have a great affinity towards customs motorcycles. Over the years, we have shown you lots of stupendous custom motorcycles here on our website. Some of our favorites include Cheyenne Bike by Game Over Cycles and the carved wooden motorcycle by Dmitry Gubenko. Today also, we are bringing to you a custom motorcycle by a Russian motorcycle fanatic Artem Boldyrev. Christened ‘Gangrene’, the fallout-inspired rat bike boasts a Lexus V8 Engine which delivers massive 300 horsepower.
A well-known blogger which goes by the name “Bolt”, Artem got the inspiration after the test drive of the ‘Boss Hoss’ motorcycle in USA. He wanted something more powerful so decided to implement the idea in his own way and created this custom V8 monster. Luckily, he found a Lexus V8 engine with automatic transmission from an old Lexus for the project. The V8-powered bike delivers a huge 300 HP and weighs around 700 Kg.
The Gangrene motorcycle by Artem Boldyrev is kept less than 3 meters in length so that it stays street legal. The custom bike comes with a massive rear wheel having a width of 360 millimeters (1’3″) which was ordered from USA. Artem made two drive chains because with one drive chain there would have been too much torque to handle and can result in twisting the wheel.
The Russian motorcycle aficionado has also created a matching helmet inspired from the fallout game series to go with this retro-futuristic motorcycle. According to Artem, all the necessary documents will be ready by next spring. His plan is to ride the custom motorcycle from Ufa to Vladivostok next summer, a journey of over 5000 km.
