Get yourself locked and loaded before you take a look at this exclusive ammo lamp. Well, ammunition is not just limited for guns anymore. Nowadays various creative artists and designers are upcycling real bullet shells and other war weapons into fully-functional objects like the Aladeen Security Magic Lamp by Dartz Motorz Company. It is named after the designer’s appearance in The Dictator movie, in which he played security of General Admiral Aladeen.
Created by Afgan War Sniper- Igor Ristolainen a.k.a Sniper, former KGB officer and now a stuntman in famous movies like The Dictator and Die Hard 5, the lamp is contrived out of real soviet KPVT machine gun bullet and soviet soldier helmet. It is handmade from authentic weapons to create fierce industrial lamp, expressing vigorous ambiance of light.
The lamp boasts huge machine gun bullet as base and ‘Sniper Ristolainen’ imprinted helmet atop as a rare lampshade. The war helmet is supported at its position by three upcycled bullet shells, giving it a true robust appeal. For additional military aesthetics, the lampshade is hand-pained by A. Cmachoff using military camo technology.
Furthermore, the lamp carries a 220 volt light source that is directly powered from electricity. Sniper Ristolainen lamp surely stands out above conventional lighting fixtures and is a must have accessory for any beastly mancave, studio or workshop. Currently, the lamp is showcased at MuseumOfVodka in Riga with no word on its pricing and availability so far.
