U-Boat Worx, Netherlands-based manufacturer of high performing, maneuverable, safe, comfortable and cost-effective submersibles has announced the launch of their world’s first transparent 3-person submersible. Called C-Researcher 3, it offers seating for two scientists and one pilot and is capable of diving up to 1,700 meters. The underwater futuristic vehicle will be offered in two variants: One with diving tanks for surface operations and another without diving tanks for dedicated man-rated crane operations only.
The deepest diving submersible with fully acrylic pressure hull is developed by UBW along with some leading scientists and researchers in this field. The underwater vehicle makes sure that it provides its passengers an unparallel combination of safety, high performance and outstanding comfort. Designed to encourage ocean research, the C-Researcher 3 submersible will allow the adventure junkies, scientists, policy makers and philanthropists to explore the underwater world like never before.
With scientific community in need for tools that enable a detailed study of our oceans to resolve key ecological issues, UBW ‘s C-Researcher 3 submersible will serve as a perfect device to observe the subsea environment. The use of advanced materials and software technology has allowed UBW to achieve compact dimensions and a limited weight. Thus, it can be operated from a superyacht and can easily be stored in a standard 20’ shipping container along with its support equipment.
The C-Researcher 3 submersible by U-Boat Worx comes with numerous protective features to ensure the safety of the vessel and its passengers. Besides that, the underwater vehicle can carry an extensive set of tools to execute a wide variety of research tasks. The tools will assist researchers in collecting samples, measuring water conditions, create 2D/3D underwater maps and analyze the seabed. The price and delivery time of the submersible will be available on request. For further information, you can visit their official website.
