In today’s world with traffic jams and too many vehicles running on the road, one definitely asks for a flying car. Here’s one that we have found for you, however it comes with a million dollar price tag.
Aerocar, the world’s first flying car which was developed by inventor Moulton Taylor in 1949 is up for sale for about 1 million dollars. Not only the Aerocar can fly but can also cruise down the road as the foldable wings keep it to a moderate size.
Built by Aerocar International, Moulton Taylor completed the vehicle in Longview, Washington, in 1949. Equipped with a Lycoming 0-320 engine mounted over the rear wheels, the 6.55 m Aerocar is a two-seater aircraft having side-by-side seating, four wheels and a 30ft wingspan. The propeller is fixed at the end of a long tail cone.
The Flying Car can cruise at a speed of 100mph. With only six made ever, here is your chance to own a rare antique collector’s item.
