Jouin Manku, Paris based designer has come up with a very creative vehicle design that will allow the designers to travel, explore the nature, have some fun and also visit the sites of their work and providing them tools for completing the designs there only. Working in collaboration with French fabrication specialists D3 Groupe they have converted an electronic U-Box vehicle into a portable workshop which is called the Toolbox and unwraps from the rear of a truck.
The Toolbox features a curved canopy that provides light and protects the area under it. L-shaped work stage equipped with a built-in table saw is formed by swinging out the hinged wooden tray and a faucet for washing tools sits on the corner of hand-fabricated arm. This workshop which is in prototype stage right now also features a laptop stand, crafted drawers, storage areas and a stool.
