Sony has recently unveiled its latest travel zoom camera dubbed DSC-HX80 or HX80, which features 30x optical zoom Zeiss lens in its tiny body. Hence, its the world’s smallest 30x optical camera. Aside from a high quality lens, the cyber-shot camera also boasts a 18.2-megapixel Exmor R CMOS sensor along with a built-in retractable electronic viewfinder (EVF).
HX80 also comes with 921k-dot 3-inch LCD display that’s able to flip upwards for taking perfect selfies. Its built in sensor is capable of shooting both still images and full HD videos- all thanks to its maximum aperture of f/3.5.
Other notable specifications of Sony HX80 are Optical SteadyShot with five-axis image stabalization, pop-up flash unit, and Wi-Fi/ NFC connectivity for syncing with Sony’s Play Memories app on your smartphone.
