NAMM 2016 is in full swing, showcasing newest innovations in musical equipments, technology, sound and lighting. Another masterpiece spotted this year at the National Association of Music Merchants is the one-of-a-kind guitar Master Repeater Telecaster by Fender Custom Shop. Created by Master Builder Yuriy Shishkov, this beautiful guitar is inspired by 18th century pocket watch Repeater. It is further embellished with nearly 1000 diamonds, 38 sapphires and 325 pearls.
This stunning diamond and sapphire studded six-string guitar boasts a round sound hole with a pierced rosette, which is patterned replicate the watch’s movement “Balance Clock.” This decorative guitar also flaunts custom lute-style enameled bridge, Birds Eye maple neck, Quilt and Soft Maple body, hand-stained paint job, along with 18-karat rose gold wire inlay as well as 18-karat rose gold sheet inlay.
Its custom-designed hardware and hand-stained wood mesh has hints of delicate artistic patterns. It is acoustic-electric guitar with impressive technical features for better playability, such as fine silver accents and neck plate ‘plaque,’ and custom pickup installed into the neck and custom electrics.
This gorgeous guitar will be on display at NAMM this weekend, as part of the Fender Custom Shop 2016 Prestige Collection. According to the designer, Master Repeater Tele sounds wonderful but you need to test it yourself if you’re skeptic. So, if you are in California from January 21st to 24thh, then do visit the event at Anaheim Convention Center.
