Both skateboarding and surfboarding are energetic activities loved by youngsters, and personalizing their board is often a big deal to help them stand out from the crowd. That’s the reason people often customize their boards to reflect individual personality. However, the latest 504 skateboard & surfboard series by French skate and surf gallery Boom Art is almost museum-worthy.
Boom Art has teamed up with European surf giant UWL to create limited edition surf and skate decks, featuring 18th century Baroque style paintings by artists Jan Davidsz de Heem (1606-1684) and Gustav Klimt (1862-1918). Handmade by UWL in France, each board is limited to 10 and comes complete with a hook that allows you to exhibit your surf or skate deck on your wall just like a piece of art.
The collection of skateboard and surfboard has beautifully revived iconic Baroque art that’s showing floral, sketched and several vibrant patterns. Each deck is available for $ 2,140, however triptych costs $293 and diptych for around $202. These skateboards and surfboards are really stunning art pieces that you can actually take outside and enjoy with your friends. Moreover, the extraordinary designs on your board will certainly grab viewers’ attention, providing you more recognition.
