To satisfy the little fun loving child inside him and to relive the good old memories of childhood, Britain-based mechanic John Bitmead has built a fully functional and street legal version of the Little Tikes Cozy Coupe toy car. The red colored car with yellow roof and without windows is the exact full size replica of the classic kid’s version of the car. Along with his brother Geoff Bitmead, John spent five months to create the full scale model of the toy car out of an old Daewoo Matiz.
Unlike the children’s genre which is pedal powered, the adult version comes with a gas powered 800cc engine. It has an impressive top speed of 70mph and can do 0-60 in about 17 seconds. Attitude Autos ToyTown Coupe can accommodate two adults and features airbag, working headlights, mirrors and seat belts. To mimic the essence and feel of the original toy car, the adult-sized toy car also includes push-button ignition and oversized drinks holder.
