Most of you might have heard of Belgium’s world famous Waffles, Chocolates and Beer. However we are not talking about any of them today, instead about something that doesn’t sound tasty and looks horrific.
We are talking about Hotel CasAnus which is shaped like a giant human intestine with an anus replica at the end. Created by Dutch designer Joep Van Lieshout, this bizarre hotel is located on a tiny island between Antwerp and Ghent in Flanders.
The exterior of the hotel looks creepy and idea of spending a night in a human colon may not interest many people, but according to Geert and Carla Verbeke-Lens who runs the hotel, lots of people come to this place for such a unique experience.
The interior is equipped with double beds, central heating and showers for a nice and comfortable sleep and a relaxing time. The guests on arrival are taken on a walk around the grounds and shown valuable collections from artists across the globe and a bar-cum-café allows the residents to interact with the owners.
You can spend a night at the CasAnus for about $155 which doesn’t sound too much for such a cool and bizarre experience.
