At the international driving debut of new Jaguar XF Sportbrake, British luxury and sports car manufacturer Jaguar unveiled a stylish and unique speedboat concept. Dubbed as ‘The Concept Speedboat by Jaguar Cars’, the company claims it to showcase the design DNA of the brand in an unexpected and spectacular package. Jaguar teamed up with yacht design firm ‘Ivan Erdevicki Naval Architecture & Yacht Design’ and design project management company ‘Seventy Seven Design’ to create the concept boat.
The 2+1 seater Concept Speedboat measures 6.1m long features a gel coat fiberglass hull finished on top with a natural teak decking. The fuel filler caps are inspired by the Series 1 XJ and the carbon-fiber fin’s inspiration has been taken from the iconic Jaguar D-type.
According to Jaguar, the Speedboat is just a concept design and the company has no plans build any kind of boat.
