Pedaling your bicycle way back home is the thing of the past as electric bicycles are much faster; saves your physical strength and now the manufacturers and designers can explore without worrying about keeping the weight of a bicycle down.
M-1 ebike from Marrs Cycles Company based in Anaheim is one such electric bicycle which doesn’t appear like a bicycle but rather looks like an antique Harley Davidson because of its massive size and weight.
M-1 ebikes are built to order and the customer can put any specifications as per his need. The smallest version is powered by a 20Ah battery which allows a 79 kg rider to reach a top speed of 20 mph and travel up to 20 miles without pedaling.
The M-1 ebike weighs about 63.5 kg and the frame is made from 4130 chromoly steel and comes in number of colors and wood types. The bike comes with a hefty price of $7000 and one of their customers is Metallica’s James Hetfield who has ordered one made with cherry wood.
