In summers, we don’t like the sun but we surely like the ice cream. However a Dutch design company Springtime has created an innovative solar powered ice cream cart that uses sunlight to keep the ice cream nice and chilled without producing any harmful gases.

The ice cream cart is equipped with solar panels mounted on the roof which absorbs the sun’s energy for charging the AGM batteries needed for the refrigeration system to run all day long and as well as at night.

The solar powered ice cream cart has been developed as a joint venture between Springtime and IJS & Zopie and a food company Odenwald Organics. The solar powered cart is a good pick for environmentalists and it will be an energy neutral solution for all the ice cream vendors across the globe.
