King of Rock N’ Roll Elvis Presley was known to be a collector of timepieces especially of Rolex and Hamilton watches. However in the upcoming Antiquorum’s Important and Modern Vintage Timepieces sale, a rare Omega Constellation owned by him is up for auction and is expected to fetch between $10,000 and $20,000.
This 1960 Omega Constellation is packed with features such as a black dial in pink gold, gold-plated Omega buckle, 24 jewels, self-winding, center seconds, shock absorber, micrometer regulator, water-resistant, Luminous pink gold dauphine hands and stainless steel back with pink gold-plated Constellation logo.
The watch was worn by Elvis Presley for a long time before passing it on to his close friend Charlie Hodge, a well known musician and a member of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame. The sale will take place on June 12 at New York and the watch will come along with a letter of attestation by Charlie Hodge.
